Pariah Pack is a paranormal series about wolf shifters and their unlikely mates. Written with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor, these stories don't take themselves too seriously.

The Pariah Pack is composed of outcasts, rejects, unwanteds, and individuals down on their luck. They found a family in each other, and these tales show how they struggle to survive in a world where they aren't welcome.

This novella, Wolfe and His Bunny, released on Feb 10, 2015. This is a paranormal M/M with werewolves and bunny shifters, and is readily available in e-book formats by Siren Publishing, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers. This is also available in paperback on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers.

Here's the blurb:

"Wolfe has a century under his belt as an Alpha werewolf for a small outcast pack. He loves taking care of those who have been rejected by their birth packs or lost them in accidents or wars. But Wolfe is lonely, as he hasn’t yet found his mate to share his burdens of leadership or his passions in bed.

One night he catches an alluring scent and gives chase to a cute but surprisingly reluctant guy named Peter. Though smart, funny and headstrong, Peter is a rabbit shifter. And wolves and bunnies don’t mix, do they? Their first encounter certainly suggests so. They seem to have nothing in common. Wolfe is a bounty hunter living on a knife-edge of danger while Peter shelters discarded and wounded animals, believing in peace and mercy.

For these two vastly different men learning to trust one another for a working relationship is a lesson in love.

5 Star Review by MM Good Book Reviews:

"Susan Laine is another author that I have found to be a hit. I chose this book because the title intrigued me. Most times wolves eat bunnies and not in a good way. So when I saw this book I knew I had to get my hands on it. --

I had a blast reading this and hope that this is just a start to many more stories like this one. I loved it and look forward to reading more by Susan. The characters are well written and grab your attention from the start. You will fall in love with them and laugh at their antics. It gives you a strong Alpha wolf, a feisty bunny mate, excitement, a bit of temperaments and some hot sex. -- I would recommend reading this amazing story and checking out the rest by Susan."

4 Star Review by Literary Nymphs Reviews:

"Wolfe and His Bunny is a delightfully amusing story of natural enemies learning to love as well as build a future together. -- Susan Laine has created an impressively appealing, sizzling romantic saga that I enjoyed immensely."

4 Star Review by Coffee Time Romance:

"There is no limit to the imagination of this author. Her characters are just that…total characters! Wolfe and Peter laugh, love, and bicker like they have been married forever. Their story is charmingly sweet and sometimes silly, but they easily make you smile."

4 Star Review by Rainbow Book Reviews:

"One of my favorite tropes in shifter lore is a prey shifter bonding with a predator shifter. This can go one of two ways. Either it is a “serious” look at what happens when two natural enemies (at least in shifter form) have to work out how to live together and use their human side to deal with the issues. Or, and I think that is the case with ‘Wolfe and His Bunny’, it is a humorous look at some of the preconceived notions we have about prey and predator and what happens when the two meet and try to have a relationship. But there is more than humor to this story.  While never taking things too seriously, the author has still managed to develop a setting that has some of the shifter trope elements – just enough to take a lighthearted look at bunnies bonding with wolves. And she succeeded – I am still smiling. -- If you like shifter stories that contain more than a little humor, if a story about prey and predator figuring out how to live together sounds like fun, and if you’re looking for a read that is funny, cute, and very hot, then you will probably like this novella.  I am certainly glad there are more books in this entertaining series!"

This novella, Lone Wolf and His Cool Cat, released on Sep 5, 2015. This is a paranormal M/M with werewolves and feline shifters, and is readily available by Siren Publishing, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers in e-book formats.

Here's the blurb:

"In his role as gamma, Silas Donovan is in charge of his werewolf pack’s safety and wellbeing. Therefore doing a favor involving security for an old friend of his alpha seems like a piece of cake.

The job, however, is being the bodyguard for a male supermodel, Aran Aquino. His fame stems from his extraordinary beauty and grace—and him being an out and proud Asian golden cat shifter. As the old adage goes about two people fighting like cats and dogs, Donovan learns the same is true with cats and wolves. He and Aran have starkly different views when it comes to determining potential threats.

Still, a tropical photo shoot on a private luxury island sounds like a dream come true. But Donovan soon begins to suspect that Aran is indeed in grave danger. Dealing with the threat would be easier, though, if Aran weren’t Donovan’s mate.

"This book just grabs your attention from the moment you start reading and keeps it there till you have read every word. Hell my attention is caught by the cover right off the bat. This book gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more. I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun."

4 Star Review by Rainbow Book Reviews:

"A spoof on Bodyguard of Whitney Houston fame and a cool shifter story full of cat and dog – ahem – cat and wolf jokes make up the second book in the very entertaining ‘Pariah Pack’ series. Different from the first book, there are no prey and predator shifters here, but the age-old idea that cats and dogs do not get along is at the center of the book instead. As it turns out, there are as many cat/dog puns, wisecracks, and quips – if not more – as there are bunny/wolf jokes. -- If you like shifter stories that examine preconceived notions in a humorous way, if a story about two lonely predator shifters figuring out how to live together sounds like fun, and if you’re looking for a read that is full of surprises, funny, and scorching, then you will probably like this novella. I am looking forward to the next book in this very entertaining series!"

4 Star Review by Coffee Time Romance:

"I enjoyed Lone Wolf and His Cool Cat very much. It has scorching hot sex and the chemistry between the two main characters is very evident. The whole cat/dog thing just cracked me up. Each is very much entrenched in his particular animal, and their personalities totally match because of this. The suspense is well written, and I liked how the author sort of tricks the reader into thinking the threat is coming from one direction, and then lo and behold it is from another you would never have thought of! And I’m not saying anything else on the matter, you will have to read this lovely book for yourself. I for one will be buying more books by Ms. Laine."

This novella, Warrior Wolf and His Little Lamb, released on Mar 23, 2016. This is a paranormal M/M with werewolves and sheep shifters, and is readily available in e-book formats by Siren Publishing, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers.

Here's the blurb:

"As an epsilon, Rhys Gunner represents his werewolf pack’s law and order. He’s an ex-military man with a straightforward style and strong values to offset his beastly nature. One day his alpha tells him to search for new land to annex into their pack’s territory in order to accommodate their growing numbers.

On a nearby farm and bakery, Rhys meets a flock of sheep shifters. One of them, Heath Sheppard, turns out to be Rhys’s mate. But the black sheep of the family is not so keen on becoming a wolf’s mate—and he’s got a girlfriend, so he’s not gay.

By ancient werewolf law, a mate’s land becomes the property of the wolf pack. That would mean that the Sheppard Farm and Bakery belongs to Rhys’s pack. When the flock learns of this injustice, a feud ignites between wolves and sheep. Ranks begin to crack as loyalties get divided. Is all really fair in love and war?

"Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across Susan awhile back when she started writing her series and I have to tell you that I will always grab her books up. -- I would definitely recommend reading this book."

4 Star Review by Rainbow Book Reviews:

"This third book in the ‘Pariah Pack’ series returns to the “prey shifter has predator shifter mate” idea from book one, only this time it is a sheep shifter who discovers his mate is a werewolf. As full of lamb/wolf references as it is, it had me cracking up. -- Between my worrying what the heck had gotten into Max Wolfe, the alpha mated to Peter the bunny shifter, and watching epsilon wolf Rhys completely mess up his attempts to convince sheep Heath they should be together, I was as entertained as ever. -- If you like shifter stories that don’t take themselves too seriously, if a story about a lamb and a wolf having to battle it out sounds like fun, and if you’re looking for a read that is full of conflict, strange behavior, a few surprises at the end, and funny, then you will probably like this novella. I certainly did and hope there will be more."

4 Star Review by Love Bytes Reviews:

"I read this blurb and felt my face settle into a look of judgmental disbelief. Sheep shifters? Seriously? Could there be a less sexy animal? They’re round, greasy, purportedly stupid, and can often be seen with poopy wool hanging below their butts. -- So now I feel the need to apologize to Susan Laine, whose books I have enjoyed in the past. -- Considering this book only came in at just over a hundred pages, I think Susan Laine did a great job of really developing both of her main characters, giving us a bunch of interesting secondary characters and still providing an attention-grabbing plot, which was rather fast paced, but wasn’t missing any important details."

Pariah Pack Paperback combines Lone Wolf and His Cool Cat and Warrior Wolf and His Little Lamb into one book. It came out on Jan 20, 2017. It's available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers. See the individual book blurbs above.

An unexpected intrusion into the wolf territory on an autumn’s day brings Woody face to face with a sullen, young coywolf and an equally morose, hostile bear in his prime.

Soon the wolf pack learns that the bear and coywolf are on the lam. They’re pursued by a lethal enemy who’ll stop at nothing to get them back. Protecting the bear and his teenage ward might prove deadly for everyone concerned.

"I came across this author when she put the first book out in this series and was fascinated with the tale she gives you. It has a serious tone to it, but there is just enough humor in it that surprises me. -- Randy was a hit with me though, after finding out what had happened to him, I can’t wait to read his story. -- Overall I did enjoy this story and look forward to many more from this author."

"--If you like this series with its shifter stories that don’t take themselves too seriously, if you think an optimistic wolf and grumpy bear can make a go of a relationship, and if you’re looking for a read that is full of anger and grumpiness, conflict, a few surprises, and funny, then you will probably like this novella. I certainly did and – as ever - hope there will be more. Soon!"

4 Star Review by Love Bytes Reviews:

"What I’ve always enjoyed most about this series is the fact that we have more than just Alpha, Beta and Omega shifters. There are also other designations like the Zeta, the Tau, and the Epsilon. But more than that, every one of these Pariah Pack books somehow cracks those stereotypes and gives you a character that you just aren’t expecting. -- Recommended to lovers of shifter series."
